KOMONO x Tom Eerebout 2021

KOMONO is proud to announce its collaboration with Belgian stylist and fashion consultant Tom Eerebout. Together with creative partner Sandra Amador, Tom Eerebout has (re)defined the looks of some of the world’s most celebrated artists. He is most well known for his partnership with Lady Gaga, other clients he regularly dresses include Kylie Minogue and Banks.

The collaboration consists of a first capsule of eyewear which will launch in September 2021, followed by a second drop in Spring 2022. For his first venture into eyewear, Tom distills the glamorous aesthetics of the red carpet into a pair of cat eye frames that can be worn by both men and women. Made from sustainable materials, the design is timeless yet distinct enough to be worn as a signature statement.

my inspiration came from a Buddy Holly and Waylon Jennings 1959 image, in which the two musicians pose and joke around in a photobooth in New York’s Grand Central station.

Tom Eerebout is a stylist and fashion consultant from Belgium. After studying at the Royal academy of fine arts in Antwerp he moved to London and after assisting for a couple of years  he developed and solidified his storytelling aesthetic.

Eerebout’s clients include Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Banks & Sylvie Kreusch to name a few. Together with Sandra Amador he forms a creative collective that provides fashion consultancy and styling. With over 10 years of experience, they have worked on international tours, music videos, red carpets, editorial and campaign shoots. The duo were Fashion directors for Lady Gaga’s two Las Vegas Residencies («Enigma» & «Jazz and Piano») showing their wide range as stylists.
