Lost in tradition, found in translation
Tokyo is a vast expanse of inspiration and a gleaming, bustling vibrant testament to the fusion of tradition and progression. This speaks to us profoundly. The chaotic tidiness of the city is an analogy for Komono.
For Spring/Summer 2016 we explored the duality and juxtaposition of this city and applied it to the collection. Future style, design, culture and aesthetics, deeply rooted in the past. Tall and wide with endless swaths of glass, concrete and steel giving way to quiet and serenity, this city – simultaneously intimidating and inviting.
This season, we're set to Tokyo time.
So simple and efficient yet so complex and sophisticated. This simple complexity, this humility that commands attention. This is what we strive for.
